Practices of Sustainability & Circularity

Slow Fashion

It is primarily fast fashion which has contributed immensely to the grievous environmental issues of our time. Fast fashion creates short lived trends and after the trends are over, the dead stocks, which are mammoth in number, are burnt, dumped in landfills and the oceans & seas creating the level of pollution that we’re fighting today. We practice slow fashion in the following ways:

*Long-lasting designs  *Staples  *Zeitgeist Designs  *Limited releases

100% Cotton

We use cotton in all our products since it is decomposition time is the smallest, we do not use any man made fibres.

*Decomposition time for cotton= 1 to 5 months, for polyester: 20 to 200 years

Circular Fashion

In a circular model of business, we are environmentally responsible from the birth to the death of all our products. This means that at every step from the creation of the garment, to the time it decomposes and disintegrates into the earth, we ensure that there is zero wastage, we use materials that are decomposable, we provide services which enhance the life of a garment and we dispose at each stage responsibly. Following are all our practices in this regard:

*Up-cycling  *Zero Waste  *Re-cycling  *Repair  *Re-dye  *Biodegradable Packaging

*Local  *Restore  *Minimal Inventory

Ethical Practices

We try our best to be as ethical as it is possible, here are some ways that we deploy:

*Child Labor Free  *Vegan  *Earth-friendly dyes  *Living Wages
